Went down to the Fly to see the Cannonball Mash bike race start. Didn't participate cause I got too much to do today, but met a few folks and got a few compliments on the new bike, which is always cool.

I turn 40 next year, and I think I’m gonna take a trip somewhere. I’m thinking Puerto Rico or Central America.

The headset wasn't the only thing loose on the bike. Today on a ride, the rear derailleur cable slipped. When I got home and checked all the cables, every one was loose. Including the brakes. Yikes! AND apparently I'd forgotten the dust caps on the crank bolts, too.

Better flavor, more intense carbonation, carbonation lasted longer once opened, and of course it was also a little cheaper, and often BOGO. I even liked the way the can felt more. It had something on it, instead of being bare aluminum.

I am legitimately grieving the loss of my SE Grocers grapefruit sparkling waters. They're superior to that lacroix swill in every way, and life is not fair.

Po grabbed a bike light off my coffee table one day when I was at work, and I’ve been looking off and on for it for weeks now, and I cannot find this damn thing. It’s weird. I’ve looked everywhere.

So I still need to build up my distance. But I just went on a short ride using strava, and I’m faster than I thought. Averaged 18mph, and topped out at 22. Not bad, imho!

Also, my headset’s been loose this whole time. Tightened it today, and the bike rides *even better*

The most annoying coworker in the office quit a week ago, and everyone, myself included, cannot *believe* how quiet and peaceful it is in here now. None of us realized how bad it had gotten.

Sometimes people reassure me that something I did wrong wasn’t a big deal, and they’re not upset, and it brings me a great deal of comfort to know in my heart that I really don’t give a shit. 😊
