Everybody keeps arguing about cars, bicycles, mass transit, etc - but the most eco-friendly mode of transportation are roller blades. #provemewrong #rollerblading #skate
It’s a big contract, I’d just quit it with the unemployment checks all together. If they really want the money, they should be batting .327 in the postseason.
All bridges and tunnel tolls have been raised to $75 each way ($73.22 with EZPass) effective immediately in order to help offset the cost of Juan Soto’s contract. #lgm #soto #mets #juansoto #worldseries #mlb #nyc #queens
Hey, @nypdnews.bsky.social - you guys feel like enforcing some traffic laws or something once in a while?
What you should be doing is booking it to a hospital because I’m pretty certain you’re having a stroke.
For you it should be, because driving shouldn’t be something you attempt ever again.
Its use is passing.
Once again, the left lane is a passing lane. If you are cruising in the left lane and there are cars passing you on the right, you are in the wrong lane.
The left lane is still for passing.
Great point. Doesn’t contradict anything that’s been said, but a great point nonetheless.
Throw your license in the gutter, please and thank you.
The left lane is for passing.
Fun Fact: The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade started in 1924, but this year is only the 98th Annual Parade. That is because the parade was not held during World War 2, when it was impossible to source material to make the balloons as it was going to the war effort. Happy Thanksgiving!
Good luck getting it before then with that attitude.
ETA: Winter 2072! Can’t wait!
But I had you for a second, right?? (nyc-dot is the official account, btw)
Wow, this is NOT okay - thank you for sharing! Starting early next year, we are going to shut that part of Flushing Meadow Park down to cyclists and pedestrians during rush hour so these cars can more easily merge on and off the Van Wyck. Thanks again for bringing this to our attention! Ride safe!
We have decided to implement #congestionpricing for pedestrians as well, to encourage people to get off our crowded sidewalks. It will cost $9 to walk in the CBTD, and an additional $5 will be assessed for groups taking up the whole sidewalk, tourists staring up instead of ahead, and sudden stops.
Get your act together, MTA. Geez.
While the debate between cars and bicycles continues to rage onwards, we will continue to insist that the ultimate mode of transportation has been and always will be the pogo stick. #transit #transportation #nyc #cars #bicycles #iykyk
Thank you.
Hi Propstar, thank you for comments! We hear you, and it sounds like the bike lanes on Gerritsen Ave aren’t working out. To rectify this, we’ve scheduled the bike lanes to be removed along Gerritsen Ave Q1 2025. We always strive to respond quickly to feedback and appreciate you reaching out!
The breakdown lane is not a travel lane and if you drive in it, just know that everyone hates you.
Be sure to check back tomorrow when it’s still not designated a loading zone.
Pobody’s nerfect
Hope this guy loves potholes and traffic, because we’re rerouting the FDR past his apartment.
