I was reading a Harlan Ellison short story collection, and it's been great fun, but him referencing Kanye West in a story hit me like a Mack truck.
I'm at my favorite part of the writing process. Giving feedback for the cover art and getting drip fed cool shit. I only write so that I can have dope cover art. All million or so words are for this purpose.
Last book of Downtown Druid is out! Plots! War! A rat in a human suit pretending to be nobility! Give it a shot!

Just watched the Knights of Guinevere pilot. I really enjoyed it. The robo Gore in particular was excellent and lots of show don't tell world building I really liked. Looking forward to more.
Very helpful Mahi. Thank you.

Probably the sword unsheathing sound that happens when the message appears.
A lot of video-game publishers spend hundreds of millions of dollars chasing after "realistic graphics" and "massive open-worlds" when what players really want is just a shitload of weird little guys
Employment jelly, repost for a job you'll love and deserve
Offer received and accepted, funemployment ends homies.
I release my employment jelly to the wild now, thank you friend.
I don't usually say this but... By the golden throne:
Maybe it's just on Reddit but it's wild to me that the Silent Hill take I see most often is "This won't be good because the gameplay doesn't suck. It's only good when it sucks."

Nothing's more humbling than opening excel and realizing how dirty my monitor screen is.
I hope you like it!
It looks like they kept the scar on Sypha's arm. That's such a neat detail.
I know it's a bit void shouty to promo here, but new book out. Sequel to old book. Criminal MC out for revenge in a fantasy city state. Count of Monte Cristo homage/inspiration. Talking rats. Please buy.

First time I've submitted a manuscript for book 1 when I'm nearly done with book 2 as well. May actually be able to hit my release every 3-4 months goal by next year.

Playing Silent Hill 3 for the first time. Whose breaking all these locks? Is there some gremlin running around with a hammer?
Lord of Mysteries really out here building a Gaslight, Gatekeep, Girlboss from scratch.

Verso's ending is pretty clearly meant to be the "good" one, but man do I not like that. The people of Lumiere fought so damned hard to live and leave something behind for one another that I can't think of them as less real than the painters who are, in contrast, so selfish and petty (realistically)
What did I do that made the Instagram algorithm suggest this to me? Who is this for in general? Who needs a Joan of Arc bikini?
Started playing the new Alone in the Dark. It's fine for what it is, but I forgot how much I love the game style of clearing rooms and solving puzzles RE style. I played 3 hours straight last night and felt none of that time.
Looks right to me
As a straight, it's better than the straight version. The weaponized therapy speak in particular is incredible.
Clea in particular was such a standout for me despite being in very little of the game. I've gotta read/play/watch more French stuff. I really enjoyed the Incal and Lastman as well. There's something in the mix over there that I really like.
Beat Expedition 33. Fantastic use of 70 hours that only cost me 50$. So many big story swings executed well, a fantastic aesthetic, and great characters that made me upset no matter what ending I chose.
