So, what do we do if, as part of one's workflow, the size of the steps (writing test and making changes in production code to pass the test) are so small that it takes less time to write the test and then make it pass than give specific, detailed instruction to the AI agent to do it?
People often ask what metrics can be used to assess the health of a process. They usually bring up team-level or individual metrics like throughput (how fast a person/team pushes work out the door) or its inverse, cycle time (time from when a team starts work on something until it finishes).
It measures how fast you recover from a failure, not how often failures occur.
