I was riding high on cowboys after getting The Phantom Rider, shortly after which the preorder for Cowboy Deadpool went up. I'm glad I got him. Hopefully they do Two-Gun Kid\Red Wolf 2-pack next. #MarvelLegends

I wasn't familiar with Casandra Nova before the Deadpool/Wolverine movie, but I enjoyed the character there and liked the idea of her being the big bad in The Void from the Loki show. She's one of those movie figures they will prob never do a comic version of anyway. #MarvelLegends
I never picked up the actual Lilandra figure because I was content with the Lilandra head from the Walgreen's exculsive Mystique kitbashed on the Silver Sable body, with Black Knight cape and 3D printed staff I created. But when the Deathbird figure went on discount, I picked her up. #marvellegends
Masters of the Universe Origins Cartoon Collection Evil-Lynn I picked up cheap. I didn't have an Evil-Lynn figure and this one was a very nice sculpt.
Isimportant tokern goo d.
Given enough time, I'm sure they'll do him in blue too. Sometimes Hasbro's reuse is a good thing :)
Excited for these 2. It's been awhile since a full Build-A-Figure wave was an instant buy for me.
While there are occasionally things I get because they're just too good of a deal to pass up, more often, even those are held in check by space issues of "where am I going to put that?"
I envy how much space some have for their displays But I also know, no matter how much space I had, I'd fill it.
Then the brands came, and then people decided they wanted to be brands. And here we've found our selves stuck for 15 years or so. www.youtube.com/watch?v=RIZd...
When I was little kid in the 70s, my dad had a cb radio, and on car vacation trips people would tell you about accidents up the road or you could ask people what exits had the best restaurants etc. When twitter came along 30 years later in the late aughts, it was like that.
Cynically, I think many people dream of being, and being treated like, influencers with thousands of followers. People want adoration. I'm from the old times, I'm primarily interested in social media for light conversation.
It's such an anti-reply culture on social media now. I feel like I'm just using these apps purely out of habit now.
Got the Laurel and Hardy action figures in the mail from BBTS a couple days ago. Nice figures.
Grizzly arrived in the mail today. Nice old-school goofy Spider-man villain. #marvellegends
Just got the Super 7 Sesame Street Typewriter Guy. Very cool figure!
I went to Universal Orlando last week. The Marvel section is a delightful early 90s time capsule.
This basic kid-line figure as a play feature where the mask splits open and closed. I 3D printed a little clip to hold the mask closed, but you could just use some thin wire looped around a couple times too.
I didn't get enough figures in Black Panther 2 MCU line to come close to building the Attuma BAF. This was another case of, the basic figure, being on a watchlist so long and getting so cheap that it was either buy it or delete it from the watchlist. Posed here with McF SF Aquaman instead of Namor.
Late to this one. Got Mutt and Junkyard a bit ago. They were always on my short list of Classified figures that I wanted to get when the 6" line was announced. But I just never pushed the buy button until it was so discounted recently that it was either get it or take it off my watchlist.
Recent pick up Detective Chimp. Always interested in DC characters that have never been made before. Never really read Justice League Dark, but do remember liking Shadowpact well enough for the first few handful of issues I picked up back in the day.
Did something happen with that book?
:(
Hopefully, McFarlane does some 6" baseball players, so I can round out representation for the major US Sports.
Not a sports figure collector, but I got one of the new McFarlane 6" Hockey Players, just to have a "generic" representation of that sport. It's decent.
Dark Forces, Shadows of the Empire, The Force Unleashed. #StarWarsBlackSeries
Got #StarWarsBlackSeries Kyle Katarn and 3Dprinted a Death Star hallway arch today.
Toyfair neat things: Micronauts Time Traveler, Sesame Street Typewriter, Grimace, Muppet's Mahama nah. I think the Mattel DC kids line stuff looks great so far.
Action Figure collecting is made up of two separate but equally important groups: those that make the toys and those that collect them. These are their stories--dun dun
