It's been really helpful for monetizing my art and building my community, but I definitely have doubts given the shitty direction it's been going.

If your art leans more toward noncon or dubcon, or even consensual noncon, it sounds like it's not worth the risk. I also don't post any centaur or particularly animalistic stuff there. The discord comes in handy for that.

Depends, yeah. Patreon has still been pretty worth it to me given the stuff I draw, with a couple exceptions. I use their merch system to send out stickers (it's janky but it works) and I connected it to discord so I can automatically add people to my server.

My Draw Steel group rolled for a new follower in their town, and somehow ended up with an adult sapphire dragon. So now they have a psionic time scholar living in their lighthouse...

(also dragons in my games can always shapechange into humanoid form)

Probably woefully off balance but I had fun translating the character concept into mechanics.
