So here's what's cool about my job:
Yesterday morning I said, "We really ought to have TWIN PEAKS available." So then a bunch of people scrambled, worked really hard, and now you can watch every episode of David Lynch & Mark Frost's original series for free on Pluto TV: pluto.tv/us/on-demand...
If you ever have the chance, drive out to Snoqualmie Falls and North Bend, WA, where much of Twin Peaks was filmed. It's one of the most beautiful places you'll ever see.
Watching this scene on the big screen for the first time was one of the most unforgettable cinematic experiences of my life.
Watch your favorite David Lynch movie tonight, but don't watch it on your FUCKING telephone!
One of the best albums of the 70s (and therefore all-time).
Tonight's movie, Feature 1, LOVE GODDESSES OF BLOOD ISLAND, aka SIX SHE'S AND A HE #AGFA #SomethingWeirdVideo
They're not related, are they?

A couple of weeks ago I accidentally bought a Region B BD of 'Cisco Pike.' I didn't have an all-region player. I was readying up a return of the disc when I thought to myself, "WHY don't I have an all-region player at this point?" So, I bought one and it's here. Inaugural spin, natch...
Maaan, I wish there were three more Russ Meyer movies coming out from Severin next month. I need another fix!

Awesome!!!
Best enjoyed if you've seen his recent films, particularly Siberia (2020), but there's a lot of other references in it, going back at least to The Addiction.
Thanks for the tip. I love anything I can find by or about Abel Ferrara!
Why the war on "explanations?" Explaining is good. Share your thoughts, tell us what you think. It's okay.
I left Twitter, but while I don't consider it any kind of moral victory I do feel like I've moved to a better place, with 100% less advertising and (for now at least), much less toxicity and pettiness.
Saluting the immortal Mike Vraney, founder of Something Weird Video, born on this day in 1957. The most important archivist in the history of exploitation film, he was dubbed "The 41st Thief" by David F. Friedman. Thank you for everything Mike, you truly gave us your all!
I just heard the phrase "rebel angels" in an explanation of 'Paradise Lost.' THE REBEL ANGELS sounds like a great unmade AIP biker flick (aka SATAN'S REBEL ANGELS) that would also be the name of a Portland garage rock band that does Davie Allen covers.
Nice. Which storyline are you watching?
