The House just passed its budget resolution, so reconciliation is now officially underway. This is their bill to destroy Medicaid and SNAP while cutting taxes disproportionately for the rich.

In April of 2023 Office of the AG of IA #BrennaBird suspended funds to cover abortive medications for rape victims for over a year.
She reversed PART of that suspension in May of 2024. Victims will now have access to abortive medications, however the state will not cover abortion.
