Stopped to appreciate the day's last wash of sunlight over spring-fresh leaves and spotted a squirrel tail swish up and around the trunk.
Evening peace.

A miniature posy of real spring flowers in a thimble
Thankyou *so* much for your support of my ko-fi in the last few days, itโs helped more than you know. Hereโs a seasonal posy in a thimble (all real flowers from the garden), including forget me not, sorrel, geum & lily of the valley. Spot the cow parsley floret ๐ฟ

A waymarker on the Laurie Lee Wildlife Way in the Cotswolds
Bluebells on the Laurie Lee Wildlife Way. It was my first time exploring this area and I'll definitely come back again.

Hello! Thank you, we're not far away. Lovely to connect with more book lovers.
Welcome to Dorset!
Who's been eating the house while I'm out at work Caramel?
"No idea. It wasn't me. Honest."
Happy Easter all.

A sunny picture of Ringstead beach in Dorset
What's that? Sunshine? Yes please, and hello spring!
She has her moments of hopping about having fun and her moments of looking extremely nervous. She's much younger than the other two and often hiding in a house alone but she's coming out of her shell this week
Two guinea pigs chilling out in the hay
Norman and Trixie. This is the first pic I have of Trixie not hiding. She was terrified when we adopted her. She came from a household where they allowed the dog to terrorise her. Just over two months in and she's now feeling comfortable resting in the open.

Picture of an empty glass next to a bottle of Orangina
One of the biggest markers of France being a civilised country is being able to get Orangina in glass bottles. It does not taste the same from any other vessel.

I love this one!
I'm sorry to hear that. They take up a huge space in our hearts.
Very much so. Really made me smile.
Thank you! Love the name btw, Wombles are great.
Very excited looking lady holding a book in a bookshop
The face of a writer when they spot their words in a bookshop. I don't think it could ever get old?
And yes, obviously I was looking for it. You have to enjoy every little boost in this game!

What do you mean?
No sorry, I don't have an inbox as I haven't done the verification and don't want to. I will continue working on manuscripts until they're ready for publication
Not yet. Hopefully one day
This is a classic but I read almost anything. I love a good story.
Picture of a hard back Wilkie Collins book, The Woman in White. The picture on the front is a lady dressed in white, holding flowers.
"My hour for tea is half-past five, and my buttered toast waits for nobody."
That line alone should make you want to read The Woman in White. Another random pick up from the library which I thoroughly enjoyed.

Only just seen this now, gorgeous picture
Studland beach in the late afternoon. Water and sand.
Trying to shift a very annoying cold by having a short stroll on the beach. Still can't breathe through my nose but have come home significantly cheerier.
