Any guitarists in Toronto looking for a never-used gig bag?

My dad was a graphic artist. He worked for a while at a commercial art studio that put together the catalogues for the two biggest department store chains in Canada, and so having Letraset catalogues lying around the house was normal. I loved pouring over them when I was a kid.

Did you do the lettering by hand or did you use Letraset? I used that on posters back in the day, it was a godsend.

@fordnation.bsky.social’s back down on his purchase of Gravy Plane should empower all that oppose his destructive rule, especially towards Toronto. Protest works, he is hyper-sensitive to it. So let’s save waterfront from his jets, spas and other corrupt city-crushing plans. Keep up the pressure.

I like that they seem outraged that CSIS was formed. Like they don't already have the CIA and FBI.

Our Canadian Problem Managing an increasingly divergent northern neighbor.

Giving new meaning to the term "DARC money". This is what we're up against, Canada.
Also, you shouldn't call yourself a think tank if all your ideas are stupid... #CDNpoli

The Kool Aid man spills red out of his pitcher while proclaiming “ as Enki, old GOS OF sumer, the seed spilled from my loins formed the river that gave life to ancient Mesopotamia.
Now, born anew, I give this gift again to usher in a new age of refreshment.
Drink to your fill.
Kool-Aid is my cum, if that wasn’t clear.”

It’s often overlooked how much the fossil fuel industry was involved in supporting the rise of the right wing racism, misogyny and xenophobia that we see now. That’s who they recruited to defend their industry.

Great interview! You said one phrase that really stuck with me: "hammering noises together into interesting shapes". What a great way to describe the process.
