Two office workers are walking somewhere, one saying to the other "That guy Bill, he's such an idiot", the other says "He keeps ending business calls by saying 'I love you' like he's talking to his mommy."
Behind them, unnoticed, another man, presumably bill, looks surprised and upset.

We now see the man closer up, livid, furious, saying "I know what they think of me. Bill the klutz. Bill the idiot. They've underestimated me for the last time. I'm only using 5% of my true power."

Bill stands with his fists clenched yelling "Witness me!" From offscreen someone else says "dude bill are you pissing?", as a small puddle of urine forms beneath Bill.

Bill yells "YES!" as the urine rises, filling the room, up to his waist.

'sit back while the magic happens...' — windows 11 installer

remember when installing software was like 'please wait. installing system files...(17%)'.

we should go back to those times honestly. i don't want software, especially os, being chummy with me.

This isn't 4D chess, these people are venal and think you are stupid. To be honest, if you cannot see that this was an obvious quid pro quo situation wherein Mandy was given a plum job for services rendered, you are, in fact, a bit of a rube.

The whole 'Starmer only appointed Mandelson because he knew he was dodgy and Trump would like him' line only works if you ignore:
a) the fact that Trump almost vetoed the appointment himself.
b) Labour Together.
It's unserious as a claim.

speaking to my tastes not those of anyone else: jellied eels. The worst aspect of "things in jelly", the worst aspect of "things from the sea" and an element of horror all its own. But this is speaking as someone who does not eat fish in any capacity due to how it tastes, so yeah

They're just little guys. You can look at them for free and you can look at them up close if you pay for Bird Premium (binoculars or camera). They're just doing behaviors. They will never email you.

something about being in my late 30s really has me sitting at the window watching the birds jumping in the little dishes of water i set out for them in the garden, i can’t get enough of this shit despite having no preexisting interest in the business of birds.

Not to be a broken record, but why on earth is Ed Balls there interviewing his wife's work colleagues about a scandal involving the government department she currently runs?

This is precisely what Priti Patel and Kemi Badenoch did too, for exactly the same reason (they’re horrible people who behave horrendously, and this usually manifests itself as seething contempt for liberalism in general)

And I mean, this is before we get to the part where the party-within-a-party appears to have illegally stitched up at least one internal election. That’s a new one that I haven’t previously touched on. Do we think this was the only piece of comical criminality involved?

I mean, just take any single aspect of this, just one part, and it would’ve been an era-defining political scandal anywhere on the planet. It’s *at least* as bad as e.g. Sarkozy taking election funding from a Libyan dictator, then launching a war against Libya in which its dictator is killed.

You can tell it was Peter Mandelson’s project because it isn’t a political operation that dabbles in bungs and influence peddling. It’s a bungs and influence peddling operation that dabbles in politics.

Henry Hill: [Narrating] For us to live any other way was nuts. Uh, to us, those goody-good people who worked shitty jobs for bum paychecks and took the subway to work every day, and worried about their bills, were dead. I mean, they were suckers. They had no balls. If we wanted something, we just took it. If anyone complained twice they got hit so bad, believe me, they never complained again.

As I said all along: shit gangsters. Shit gangsters all the way down.

I won’t relitigate the whole thing but: all that shit you saw play out this morning? That was the whole point of the exercise, the reason why Mandelson and McSweeney recruited Sir Keir as their vocalist, the reason why it’s now all so desperately bleak and corrupt. Because these lads had to get paid

A member-led, left wing party could set its own policy, so it had no use for zillionaire bungs. A member-led party didn’t need post-politics gigs with Drax or PWC, it didn’t need contracts with Palantir. And Morgan was very, very clear with the journos that this was unacceptable to him.

The *entire Starmer project* needs to be understood as one big Jobs For The Boys operation. That’s why McSweeney - Labour’s squillionaire bungs officer - spent 2017-19 running around telling dejected MPs to hold tight, because he was going to hook them back up with their clout, status and freebies.
