Also, NJ Transit riders should tag @customeradvocate.bsky.social and urge him to advocate for the required public hearings this year or at least to flag the issue in his next report.
Don’t forget to call your State Senate and Assembly members as well.
Don’t forget that Murphy signed a 2018 NJ Transit reform law that requires NJ Transit to hold 10 public hearings "before implementing any fare increase,” but failed to make NJ Transit follow the law last year. See N.J.S.A. 27:25-8(d)(2).
Call @mikiesherrill.bsky.social ’s office & demand hearings!
Good afternoon! I’m at Secaucus Junction with NJ TRANSIT ambassadors sharing info about the Portal Bridge Cutover and what it means for your commute.
I’ll be here until 7pm to answer questions and hear your feedback.
ℹ️Learn more at njtransit.com/portalcutover.
Can riders count on you advocating for a new round of public hearings before the next round of fare increases are set to be implemented in July?
🛎️ Tomorrow, I'm bringing your December feedback from the online form and social media to the Operations & Customer Service Committee.
Join us January 30 at 9:00 AM for updates.
Here are the key topics you raised 👇
At Bloomfield Station for the morning rush!
Stop by, say hi, and share your feedback. You can’t miss the yellow jacket 👋🟡
👋 Hey bus riders!
NJ TRANSIT is testing two different e-ink screen solutions that could be used as information signs at bus stops in the future.
Both would display & announce real-time departure times & service alerts.
Your feedback would be appreciated—take a look🧵👇
Salt distilled from the tears of NJ Transit riders hit with delays and/or cancelations.
Happy New Year everyone! 🎉
In 2026, I’ll continue working on passenger experience improvements while expanding customer engagement. This starts on 9/1, when I’ll be at Trenton Transit Center from 6–10am to hear your feedback in person.
“The last time NJ Transit provided data about how many miles each type of locomotive and rail car traveled between failures was in November 2021.”
@NJTransit_CA, can we get Rail Operations to start publishing this data each quarter, like it used to? www.nj.com/news/2025/12...
⚠️🚆 Hey NJ TRANSIT Morris & Essex and Montclair riders —
Your trains will continue to originate and terminate at Hoboken Terminal through the end of service today. Please expect delays due to congestion.
Repairs on the switch are ongoing, and we expect regular service to resume tomorrow.

Good morning folks! 👋
I’ll be at Summit Station until 9:00 AM — come say hi!
When you share your feedback with me on social or through the online form (NJTRANSIT.com/advocate), it does not sit on a shelf. I include it in my Customer Advocate dashboard so the Board sees what matters to riders.
I’ll be presenting the comments below at the CS Committee Meeting on Oct 31. 👇
Hello, Bluesky! 👋
For my first post, I’d like to highlight the next NJ TRANSIT Customer Listening Forum.
Our Rail, Bus, and Light Rail teams will be at 30th Street Station in Philadelphia starting at 4:00 PM on October 21st to collect feedback and comments from passengers.
Spread the word! 🚆🚌🚋💬

What the hell is happening with NJ Transit Northeast Corridor Line service today? How is there no westbound service between Metropark and Trenton from at least 11 AM to 2 PM?

Did NJ Transit retire these locomotives too soon? The feds think so and dunned NJT $27.5 million from it next grant for doing so. www.nj.com/news/2025/09...
This is a devastating blow for New Jersey. In a state torn between two major media markets (NYC and Philadelphia), NJPBS provides a vital service and coherent coverage on vital local affairs. The Legislature has a duty to step in and help save that coverage.
Four more NJ Transit Northeast Corridor Line cancelations, including three crew availability cancelations, have been announced since my initial post ≈ 45 mins ago.
Not a great start to the week, NJ Transit.
Screenshot of NJ Transit Northeast Corridor Line tweets showing one train canceled (3800) and one train delayed (3817) due to engineer availability issues.
Engineer availability issues once again plaguing NJ Transit on the day after a Meadowlands event.
Riders need NJ Transit to offer greater transparency and a detailed plan to fix this.
"NJ Transit reported 634 cancellations due to mechanical issues over the three-month period, the highest number under any year since Murphy took office in 2018. This summer, they rose for the third consecutive year." -- newjerseymonitor.com/2025/09/17/m...

The worst single-day crime spree in modern Washington history, of course, took place on Jan. 6, 2021. Trump issued no order to the National Guard to intervene -- Mike Pence did -- and later pardoned the perpetrators.
@govmurphy.bsky.social, Mr. “I’ll fix NJ Transit if it kills me,” was unable to avoid a NJ Transit engineer strike in 2025, while transit-unfriendly @ChrisChristie was able to avoid one in 2016.
Let that sink in, folks.
“All of these precautions have kept me safe. In contrast, almost all my colleagues have had COVID at least once—some multiple times. Some even have Long COVID.”
Mitigations work! Repeat infections are not inevitable.
Grateful to the HCWs still masking & protecting themselves and their patients
