Took this #photograph in summer of 2017. Crazy how time flies.
Hourglass-shaped sunset clouds, Santa Fe, NM. 14”x11” oil
A gripping supernatural thriller written by Brandon Massey held me in suspense. And at times I wanted to scream ”For the love of God, Monica, open your eyes!”
The book Nana was published in 2018.

Once I found a moth in an elevator. This was on a old toilet’s wall. Took it out and it flew away happily.
There would have been so many opportunities to discuss violence in a relationship. All that disappeared in the merry, sunny light-hearted feeling surrounding it all.
A focus on Atlas after a heartbreak with Ryle for any other reason than violence would have been romance. #booksky #moviesky
For some years ago I read the #book It Ends With Us by Colleen Hoover and wrote a short essay about this during taking a course in literature. I could not agree that the book was #romance. #Reading and even now, after seeing the #movie from 2024, it leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
He is 7 years old now. Here he is enjoying a good catch, a beanie.

The Pearl has the themes family, good and evil, colonialism, but even paradox and perseverance. Especially through Kino’s (main character) desires.
Ended reading The Pearl by John Steinbeck the other day. This #book is influenced by Carl Jung’s philosophy and is about how the human can be greedy, focused on materialism and how a thing, in this case a pearl, inherent a worth.

I had plans to sit in the garden for a while but when my eyes caught these two, I got mesmerized. Have not seen moths like this before.
Beautiful story of a man bonding with a robin.
During daytime it’s all blue skies and around +17 degrees Celsius. During nights it’s cold 🥶 and frosty.

I had secured it in the ground and on the fence. Pots kept it heavy but the storm had other thoughts. 😂
Happy Easter #caturday!
This is art by Léo Forest and if you want to have a good laugh, as I got, you should look at his art. You can almost hear the cats! 😄
A close up of a moth in pale beige yellowish color on a old brown part of a cottage. In the background a bit further away is some bookish lights. Photo taken on a dark evening.
It’s that season again. 🦋

Boxer was a kind heart, hard working and he really believed in the pigs leadership. He was so selfless, too. Boxer’s story is very sad and heartbreaking.
Have not read Orwell before, so I will have many books to choose from.
