I’m understandably distressed about the whole thing but also: he’s 15 and he’s been the picture of health for all those years. I can’t really expect much but it’s still upsetting watching him wobble, stumble and struggle to jump and play.
Guess I know how my parents feel now.

Is horrendous. It’s nearly out of control, especially now I’m not on any slow release pain medication. (We just rawdogging opiates under my neuro’s supervision until I can get a new pain specialist)
Back to Panzer, he seems okay for now but each day is stressful, watching him fit any signs of pain
Much, as the treatment would still be the same. He’s currently on steroids now to reduce the inflammation and get his appetite back up. But this feels like he’s reaching his end of life. He’s so wobbly and tired.
I worry he’s in pain, because I have a very similar issue to him and my current pain…
Just kind of flaked out for a bit following news about Panzer. It’s a mixed bag: he’s almost certainly got a brain lesion but to confirm it, I’d need an MRI.
I a) do not have the funds for it and b) I want to avoid sedating Panzer if it’s not necessary. Not having the scan doesn’t really change…
We should have a chili dog night next time I’m down there
Absolutely understandable. Best wishes to you both.
Lunch meats. Couldn’t have them. Especially for school lunches.
My mum was *weird* about food. Turns out she was celiac and a stint in the outback made her paranoid about anything ‘meat’. She’s much better about it now.
Are you telling me the boys are, in fact, not back in town???
I need people to know that the photos of colourful moon are not from Artemis II. They were made by a Ukrainian photographer, who enhanced the colours of the moon's surface to represent its mineral composition.
I can't stand to see an individual work be misattributed and misrepresented like this.
I'm one of those trans women. I worked ground ops for Artemis I.
I am torn between celebrating the success of my friends and peers and grieving how my dream of working for NASA was shattered by hateful assholes in Tallahassee
A slew of anti-trans laws and policies in Florida have forced many trans people to relocate to ‘safer’ states and leave family and careers behind. And it’s ongoing.
It’s barbaric and cruel. If you have the time, look into what’s happening.
So cute!
Admittedly my first thought was ‘Skill issue’ but that’s not a terribly helpful comment, in this trash fire of an economy and ignores the damned racism baked into the job market.
Cus I feel that this ‘men are struggling’ articles ignore non-white men.
Heaven forbid we focus on dismantling and deplatforming toxic masculinity within the workplace in general (*girly jobs* really??)
‘Let’s just try a rebrand’
Work is not ‘beneath’ any one gender. A man is not lesser for working in a field requiring compassion.
Panzer, meanwhile is really struggling. His right hind leg keeps giving out on him and his ‘Wobbles’ are worse.
Nothing concrete but I have a bad feeling. He’s cranky and upset he can’t easily jump into beds and chairs.
While not the smartest move, I stopped Targin cold turkey after what I can only describe as ‘having a ScoMo’ on the way home from visiting Cally.
I wish I’d been able to spend more time and enjoy the visit more, I spent most of the time nursing my pain and tummy troubles.

I’m not sure if newer cars log where charging takes place but yes, absolutely that info could be invaluable from a second hand/repair/replace perspective.
They also had less political power and sway back then too.
There’s also the fact you can’t run the car or any of its non motor functions on the dregs of a charge, there’s a cut off that isn’t really mirrored in petrol cars.
Sorry for the long reply but there’s a lot of info to condense down. I hope it helped a bit!
It’s also worth noting that a fast charge station is intended to ‘top up’ a charge, not go from 20% to 100%. That takes time and may ‘clog’ up EV stations as seen on the Easter weekend. A 5-7 minute charge and you should be good for the next leg of the journey.
So in terms of resell ability, cost of repair and even potentially insurance costs it pays to reduce any reliance on fast charging as much as you can. Batteries are one of the most expensive components to replace and degraded batteries are also a safety risk.
As with most things it depends! Not a helpful answer but the ability to hold a charge can decrease dramatically with a frequent use of fast charging within 2-3 years. The life expectancy of rechargeable batteries in cars is 10 years. Give or take.
The textures, man 🌙
Definitely need more chargers that aren’t restricted (some Tesla chargers lock out other car models)
Also new EV owners should read up on how to maintain a healthy battery. Fast charging isn’t ideal for long term battery health.
saw a post that said "we're the only planet in our solar system with only one moon and she is our best friend and we're locked in orbit together so she's always facing us and now we're going back over there to say hi"
..I think the moon would probably be wondering how we've been all these years too
yep! she's gay
