illustration inspired by Charlotte Perkins-Gilman's 1891 short story "The Yellow Wallpaper" depicting a woman touching sickly yellow torn wallpaper on a wall while shadowy hands reach toward her. There is another tall shadow of a figure on the wall and both figures look toward the viewer.
"The color is repellent, almost revolting; a smouldering unclean yellow, strangely faded by the slow-turning sunlight."
I made a "Yellow Wallpaper" piece back in 2017, but I re-read the story over the weekend and wanted to try again. Much happier with this version 🖤

Literal years have passed since I last watched it but five seconds in and I’m already back on my Charles Vane bullshit.

Spooky month
I love Twin Peaks because it was never a singular failure of one specific person, but a wider community failure to help one another. The belief of a singular responsibility and guilt was exploited to hide that wider failure, but if you watch the show closely, it's all there. A beautiful rotting home
oh yes waiting for a new ep was absolute torture lmao it’s just so perfect I have been thinking about it every single day since I finished it asjka
be prepared to NEVER REGAIN IT
