Nearly 100 migrants, from Ethiopia, Egypt and Somalia face beheading in Saudi Arabia, as hashish related executions are ramped up. Meanwhile, 30+ NGOs published an open letter calling on Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to commute the death sentences.

For more than a year, my colleague Justin Scheck and I looked into why domestic workers from across East Africa, who are promised jobs and a better life in Saudi Arabia, continued to face abuse, starvation and death. Here's what we found.
Ethiopia deported 50 Eritreans last night and just deported around 300 Eritreans back to Eritrea today. I spoke to the deportees earlier today when they reached Bure and later spoke to them when the busses reached Eritrean territories.
Thank you sister! 💕
It’s hard to say goodbye to my friends and knowing there’s so much more to do But at least no more Israel bombardment. There’s a ceasefire now bringing some peace. Even in these challenging times they made me the most wonderful Ethiopian coffee. Grateful for their kindness.💕💕
Thank you sister 💕
Our friends, our volunteers, are in a state of panic. They’re running to our community center seeking shelter. It look like there is nowhere to hide. Nowhere is safe. They are Bombing everywhere. 😥
This footage was taken by us this morning from the area that was bombarded around 4
AM today. Many migrants from different nationalities used to live in this building. Until the morning 11 people have died & 63 are injured, among the 11 confirmed dead, one was from the Sudanese nationality.
I woke up at 4a and I was panicking I thought they bombed the building! 😥
After a long day of assisting our team doesnt get sleep at night. The sound of Israel drones, creates anxiety for us here. We wonder if our building will be next.
Thank you so much!!!
I'm Banchi! I'm Ethiopian was a migrant domestic worker in Lebanon for 7years. Now Im founder of migrant domestic worker advocacy and humanitarian org call "Egna Legna Besidet" (us migrants for us migrants). If you respect and value intersectional feminism + solidarity I value and respect you!
We were preparing meals to distribute to hundreds of displaced migrant workers in Lebanon. Then Israel bombed some of the areas of Beirut, making it impossible for us to access roads and one shelter. 120 displaced women had children no dinner because of this!
Long day of shopping I’m glad to be back to Lebanon to help my migrants community from different countries!!❤️ #Humanitarianaidwork
TRIGGER ALERT:
My latest byline for the Middle East Eye: I spoke to Ethiopian migrants who survived #Saudi border guard massacres on the Yemeni border. Details of @hrw.org's horrifying report on how Saudi border forces killed 100s of migrants, firing at them unprovoked with heavy weapons.
