Yeah at least a couple thousand ppl do. I too was surprised at the heft pledges. I guess that's what the KS can be for. The die hard fans that will pay more. Normal players can grab it later on Steam for $29 or whatever.

I have to say, Charles Cecil & gang at Revolution Software have done a great job remastering their old Broken Sword games. It's nice to see and a lesson to all devs - IP matters. Even in 20-30 years. You-never-know. Keep your IP. Anyway, new Kickstarter. www.kickstarter.com/projects/rev...
Still from "Planet Of The Apes"
Okay guys they've gone behind the Moon so it's time for us to put our ape masks on
This is going to be HILARIOUS
People complain about algorithms but secretly we all want algorithms. Facebook and Instagram were always great at feeding you more of what you interact with. X is now too. I think it's unavoidable if they want to be serious.
Concerning. Bluesky has flatlined at 38 million users. Every number here is red and every graph shows a slow decline. If you're a creator run business you may not want to burn the boats.

I dig dream levels floating in space.
We just watched Sam Raimi's "Send Help" (starring Rachel McAdams). Amazing movie. Very fun. Highly recommended. Go in as blind as you can.
Oh god. Iโm so glad you got through the dark times and discovered a pc. Better late than never!
Did a quick grocery run. Very nice.
Totally legible if it's suppose to read "Optimist". Not if it's Coptimist ;)
Happy Birthday Dave.
You got my $3 (shoulda charged more). Great to have them in a collection.
Ian, it's getting really hard to care about Bluesky. It's just pretty much a ghost town.
I remember that cam. That was cool.
I finished (3hr) and enjoyed "Crabmeat". It's a little clunky but has a horror vibe and if you want to tool around an artic sea fishing for a crab quota and your life and like exploring games on the fringe then it may be a solid weekend game for $7.

Also truth be told, life's too short to worry about it. Your reply to the post was enough. This person seems an activist who's anti-ai which is just an issue to begin with, then they are willing to potentially slander a game with no facts. Just a shitty person all around. An unhappy shitty person ;)
...and you need to educate ppl how to report, eg: click on the review in question and click the flag and maybe point out your dev response as "proof". It's all silly, but in my experience Steam does look at reports and especially if they get a dozen or so.
I hunted down that review and reported it. Best way to get it dealt with is to have a bunch of friends report it and your response to that review can stand as proof as if any is necessary. Steam should really not allow ai accusations to stand in reviews. I can see it being abused by idiots.
"$300 for a 3Dfx 1. You're crazy". Wait...Tomb Raider runs 640x480 at 30fps all the time? Sold!
Like anything else, progress is progress. I wonder how the modern internet would have survived the 90s when you have to upgrade every 2 years (whole system) just to be able to play games. Many games that came out ran 15fps until you spend another $2000!, then they ran 30fps.
DLSS 5 is fine. It'll be optional, turn it on/off at will. Go outside and touch grass. Find a way to be happy in life!
Yeah it's super stupid. To me it just illustrates how many ppl online just want to be unhappy and bitch about everything.
This is all you need to know to write a hit video game.
Everything else is internet noise. Be realistic and aware of your skill. Now, go start something people want to play.
Talking shop on character design, NPC categorization, the importance of a "low level" supporting cast for creating ambiance, some tales from the Worldwound, and the critical element that A.I. could never have thought of for Annah in Planescape Torment.

I find Bluesky less good now as there's no algo and it's just ppl I follow. Fine, if you never want input outside your sandbox. I like being exposed to new accounts, but who post content I've liked/engaged with in the past.
