The US government has been turned over to a group of extraordinarily ignorant people, and they are working to destroy science in this country. Cutting over half the NSF budget would save < 0.1% of the federal budget, but do incalculable harm. Simply heartbreaking.

Took the UI some time to catch up and now it shows a 7 day trial and I can cancel but do not see a switch for monthly billing.

fwiw, the signup is a little confusing and I did need to enter payment details. Now that I have, I don't see anything about canceling or switching to monthly.
