Down year for the Generals?
We're No. 1?
Disappointed they didn't land at the N/S gates and include a second train in the voyage.
Paul Sorrento erasure
Schrodinger's game-winner in USC-Clemson.
Love this breakdown!
Congrats, Chris! Can't wait to read the book.
Since Austin Reaves last Saturday???
The No. 99 jersey number is *chef's kiss*
I believe it's actually the long-distance con

My first thought was "How do you give up a runout in that situation?" but in his specific case it sort of makes sense.
High Point's Chase Johnston making his first 2-pointer of the year (to go with *50-plus* 3-pointers) to take the lead in the final 15 seconds of an NCAA tournament game is incredible content.
Yeah, that was my original argument. We don't notice there's 2-3 extra players of this level because the number of All-NBA spots doesn't change etc.
The challenge of evaluating talent with all-in-one metrics is they're all tied to league average. So if the whole league gets 20% better, there's no way to show that the rising tide has lifted all boats. (I did some work on this with my championships added model: www.espn.com/nba/insider/...)
Some of the very best stars in the NBA wouldn't have been in the league 30 years ago when we went to 29 teams because there were relatively few international players (and certainly none with backgrounds like SGA/Giannis). Why don't you think that influx has led to perceived increase in star talent?
I certainly don't disagree with the larger point, but three of SMU's five losses without Edwards being non-close feels like a bit of a strawman to me when they'd only need one extra win to pass Auburn in WAB.
Should be noted every time we see these kinds of photos that for all the impact the late Philadelphia statistician Harvey Pollack had on NBA history, handing Wilt Chamberlain the famous "100" paper is probably his greatest influence.
Quite a night in NBA ordinary time
With about five minutes left in the fourth quarter of the Super Bowl
Do not taunt Cameron Crazies
Somebody needs to mash up Holly Rowe's delightful "I'm accidentally in a team huddle" with the "You're probably wondering how I got here" meme.
Your move, Hilary Knight
Need to expland to add Glen Rice
Not only was Ken Loeffler wrong about the shot clock, his joke every 30 seconds example was also disproven by "30 Rock."
Everybody makes the Big Ten tournament this season!
With the Winter Olympics coming to a close, I peered ahead to the 2028 Summer Games—and projected a 12-man Team USA men's basketball roster, full of youth and defense
Had that thought and it appears the answer is yes. The 1980-81 Blazers were previously second on this list, having given up 162 on Feb. 13 and 84 on Feb. 15 (78-point drop). The 2019-20 Hawks had the record before today with 158 points on Nov. 30 and 79 on Dec. 2, a 79-point swing.
Looks like bad All-Star jersyes.
