While not exactly mindless stitching, I really enjoy this kind of repetitive stitching. And I’m enjoying where this little quilt experiment is going.

Almost….
Just binding left.
This one’s taken almost 4.5 years to get this far…
Deeply thankful for so much.
For family.
For friendships & people who challenge the way I view the world and love me no matter what.
For quilts to cuddle under; for the ability & privilege to make art.
For stitches to occupy my hands & hold my thoughts & feelings.
For carrots & parsnips.
Rolls for tomorrow… 🤤🤤🤤
Not my favorite step, but EPP paper removal means the end’s in sight!
Can’t wait to baste & quilt this one!

The kookaburra calling in the Central American jungle at the beginning of Indiana Jones: Raiders of the Lost Ark always makes me laugh.
I still love the movie, but I chuckle every time. 😆
No…… just no…..
Poinsettias in white, red, pinks & other natural colors are very welcome in my home… but no dyes and fake colors, particularly when glitter spray is added 😆
Are we setting up a trio of trees in our living room? Yes. Yes we are.
Is it too early to set up Christmas decorations? No. No, it is not.
It’s snowing outside & I could not be happier about it. 2 years between true winters is too long.
I’ll always be a fan of the snow.

Stitching some random blocks.
I don’t know what I’m doing, but it feels calming… or at least productive.
We’ll see where it leads…
