Much appreciated!
Well yes but but I didn't intend to do it like that. I just don't like lore dumps
It's the second draft. Around 82k.
I have no intention of paying anyone.
Undetermined at the moment.

Epic fantasy noir.
Epic Fantasy Noir
So I'd assume I need a few more data points from a. Native English speaker/readers. B. Avid fantasy readers. Preferably those that like Steven Erikson.
Well here's the thing one of the guys in my writing group had a few issues with differentiation between two races, was generally confused about lore etc, but he's danish and not a big fantasy reader.
How I usually do it is that I sprinkle in the world and the reader should in theory get the contex

I'd need to know more about you. Instead of being a random person on the internet.
Hmmm not sure.
For?
Gotcha! If they want the book. I really don't want to do this alone.
Hey so quick question, I sent in my first draft to you guys, due to potential publisher interest. But I am almost done with the second draft which split the story in two. So instead of 205k it'll be under 120k. Should I submit that instead when ready? I think it's better. I hope.
I am almost 80k into my draft 2. That means I am close to The end. In the meantime, I got draft 1 sitting at a danish publisher and potential interestl there. Now, everything might fall apart at the end but... Right now I see writing career progression and that's cool.

Have you considered a book that's if the author was the child of Tolkien and Dashiell hammett but influenced by Tim O'Brien?
Tricia who?
I got that! Two marines doing their thing!
Define bromance, because I might have a bromance for you.
I am really hoping some agents are looking for a noir tinged epic Fantasy about the aftermath of the epic event for the mswl day.

By the way, their contact info can be found on the last page of the PDF.
@ottersediting.com was one of the editors.
I took part in a Line-Editing Case Study. As the Author guinea pig.
I think what the six line-editors did can have value for all authors, so if interested, the case study can be found here:

I think a literary Post epic fantasy is just what people need
That's scary.
Yeah trying to make it viable is what got me into this mess.
And still working on that.
