I dont hate people but I despise population density. I want my nearest neighbor a half mile from me.

All I want in life is a modest house with a private yard. Trees. Grass. A garden. Privacy. Quiet.

Every day I come home to an apartment and I want to scream. I want control over what appliances I have. What I can put on my balcony. Not having strangers stomp above me all day.

going from thousands of followers down to like the 60 or so people I either know irl or have known online for years was the best thing I've done with my relationship to the internet.

this is my public bathroom experience

there needs to be mandatory white noise in all public bathrooms, whatever frequency and decibel level that cancels out any indication someone is shitting two feet from me

accidentally end up scrolling through youtube lives and its always a guaranteed freakshow. someone talking nonsense with fly tape hanging from the ceiling, garbage everywhere, up view shot of their face and the contents of their nose. fascinating, truly.

being able to cook two things that need to be done at different temps... I was roasting veggies in the oven and a porkchop in the air fryer, beans on the stove... all got done at the same time, it was beautiful
