The average American family paid $1,700 in tariffs last year, according to the bipartisan Congressional Joint Economic Committee. Few will ever see any of that money back. The refunds will go to companies, if doled out at all. What a joke.

We're in an unjust war and there's a group of far right extremists running the country. You need to work WITH me to dismantle that, not criticize me for trying to stay alive. How are creators both locked out of any resources under capitalism AND exclusively responsible for dismantling it?
As it stands when you try to whittle down a cost for creative work, which I already do mostly sliding scale, the line between you and my most exploitative bosses really starts to fade. So how is it that you get to be actively exploitative here, but fixing capitalism remains my problem exclusively?
I get really irritated when someone questions the cost of creative work. Oh, you hate capitalism? Me too. Talk to my landlord about it. Talk to a politician. Talk to your boss. Talk to literally anyone in power. Artists can't fix capitalism for you on top of everything else we have to do.
