Should we privatize our energy grids?

I'd say they would agree with the points that valorize public service and call out the decadence of the elites who don't care about the public.

I think the left would broadly agree with half of the points.

Here's a short sci-fi story for your weekend. In the future, what if people are paid to create new images for AI training?

Over 240 people apply for 36 new Dublin homes on sale at prices starting at €291K Properties are first of 176 homes at Skerries site being developed by Land Development Agency and Lydon building firm

There are 36 new homes in Dublin and over 200 applicants. The US is not the only country struggling to build enough homes.

I also don't like the association of immigration enforcement with slavery. The US has a large immigration population and is more inclusive than most countries.

While I do support expanding immigration, I don't like how it's often framed in terms of anti-racism. The average person is not convinced by that. NYC spent billions on a small migration flux, so simply redirecting ICE funding isn't enough. Our immigration policies can't be just laissez-faire.

The NY-12 candidates can be summarized by a Q on infrastructure projects:

Schlossberg: We should have free busses
Lasher: I will push for Nadler's freight rail
Conway: trump won't build anything so there's no point
Bores: here's many esoteric ideas including Roosevelt Island

This doesn't seem like a "new feature" since news articles have long existed. It seems like Polymarket is being incorrectly labeled as news. But I don't think that's related to vibe coding or an intentional release.

Is Polymarket showing up an intentional thing or something due to some other algorithm which looks for news? I don't think this was meant to happen in any sense.

I too have managed to get a lot of them, which is odd. It seems like the RNG is not in our favor.

Are you sure this is caused by vibes?

In a first, renewables beat natural gas on US grid last month It’s just one month, but it’s a sign of where the U.S. is headed as renewable energy — namely solar — surges onto the grid.

A milestone in March: for the first time ever, renewables provided more power on the US grid than natural gas.

Okay but they probably should remind people not to bring machetes in the subway instead

A bank in Mexico was recently hacked by North Korea using malware co-written by Claude. It's long been clear we need much better cyber security.
