Many of the biggest policy decisions of Donald Trump’s second term follow the same script: move fast, ignore the experts, break things, then spin the disastrous outcome as a victory. From DOGE to tariffs to the ICE surge in Minneapolis, the pattern keeps repeating. The war in Iran is next.
Here's what's unfolding in the civilised world:
– China publicly stated using a nuclear weapon would mean "the demise of Israel as a country"
– This is the FIRST TIME China has directly threatened a US-aligned nuclear state with national extinction
– The statement was made on the record.
Regardless of whether it’s all talk, when the leader of our country expresses plainly genocidal intent, everyone has to do something.
For citizens of all political stripes, it means rejecting this madness. For Congress, it means taking action to rein him in. Now.
So there’s no regime change, we lift all sanctions against them going back decades, they retain missile and drone capabilities, they control the strait and can charge tolls, and keep their enriched uranium. So much for “unconditional surrender.”

Some thoughts about the President of the United States speaking about ending a civilization. The president speaks genocide. Anyone who has been involved in that conversation or associated actions would be complicit. And so we too must speak. Not only about crimes, but about their legal punishment.
