With every passing day this administration sounds more and more like a doomsday cult.

There are other reasons for the UK government not to award or continue Palantir contracts but this statement of intent by its CEO must surely be decisive?
5/ And on the Strait of Hormuz, they had NO PLAN. I can't go into more detail about how Iran gums up the Strait, but suffice it say, right now, they don't know how to get it safely back open.
Which is unforgiveable, because this part of the disaster was 100% foreseeable.
Newly released footage shows an ICE agent killing Rubin Ray Martinez, 23, in his car in Texas.
"He was shot at point-blank range through his side window by an ICE agent who was in no danger."

Has Trump added this to the list of wars he's ended?
What's the odds those men were Jan 6 insurrectionists? Trump now has his personal militia intimidating and silencing citizens.
Can someone ask Farage or Zia Yusuf why, if they're so concerned about incitement to violence, they had Lucy Connolly as a guest star at their conference?

A cross between backstage at Sun City and Caesar's Palace.. the one in Luton.
Yeah. But this SCOTUS.
What's the overlap between those waiting for the busses and those waiting for The Rapture?
NEW: When Labour voters were asked why they believed things were getting worse for the UK, they overwhelmingly cited Brexit as the number one cause, with 69 per cent naming the decision to leave the European Union as the main reason behind the countryโs problems.

Farage rally is just a Trump mini-me. This is just "they're eating the dogs! they're eating the cats!" with an English accent.
I still can't quite believe that the very first attacks from Labour on Farage's bonkers idea to kick millions of people with INDEFINITE right to remain out of the UK were to argue that it's infeasible and wouldn't save anything like the amount he claimed.
How about:
- It's WRONG
- It's IMMORAL
?
It seems like they are attacking a named product - Tylenol - rather than the active ingredient in it - acetaminophen (paracetamol) - because Trump can pronounce "Tylenol" but can't pronounce "acetaminophen".
As the FLO website says, unlike many UHC filters it maintains good colour balance such as the blue in bright class B5 star, NGC 7654 197.
Yes. I recently got a Sightron LPS-C1. It's specifically designed to eliminate the wavelengths associated with LED streetlights and I have genuinely been surprised at its effectiveness given that this is from Twickenham. FLO has a page that shows the technical data.

Yeah. Trump was terrified of how ordinary people would react so he hid behind security like a scared little boy hiding behind his mommy's skirt. Those were the "security reasons".
While taking a few photos of last night's lunar eclipse here in London (at 8.43pm local time) I happened to catch an image of a plane flying in front of the moon. #lunareclipse
They're all in favour of free speech for people who agree with them.
Under the Trump regime, BLS is now an abbreviation for Bullshit.
First image of the season! We moved to South-West London (Bortle 8!!!). I set up the telescope to try out a new filter - a Sightron LPS-C1 that excludes the wavelengths in LED streetlights. This is the Fireworks Galaxy.

Oh wait - it's a flagpole, not a cross!
I'm a supporter of Fulham FC and every time I walk past All Saints Church in Bishop's Park on the way to Craven Cottage, I find it difficult to stop myself acting out the scene in "The Omen" where Patrick Troughton gets speared by the cross that falls off it after it gets struck by lightning!
Wow. So true. I had a poster in my university dorm room in 1985 that said "1985! Bach! Handel! Scarlatti! Tercentenary celebration!" with line drawings of all three. God, how I wish I could find that poster again now.
Excellent #HistoricalFiction book set largely in the area of North-West Ireland I grew up in, but in 60AD! Great characters, lots of genuine historical detail, and a well-written narrative.

Grok is lagging. I asked it a question on the meaning of the question "Wer ist der Gral?" in Wagner's opera Parsifal. Whereas ChatGPT and Gemini gave thoughtful answers about why it is phrased like that, Grok gave the schoolboy answer that Parsifal wrongly thought the Grail was a person.
I'll take my bike for a memorial spin.
