i also tried doing these funky overhangs but minecraft's weird lighting engine made it look really iffy

before the snapshot iirc any transparent textures on a block that doesn't already have some transparency by default would just have a black background so im really interested in seeing what people do with this

i probably wouldn't personally use something like this but in the new minecraft snapshot they made it so you can actually use transparent textures on basically any block model which makes stuff like shell texturing on most blocks possible without mods

if youre a fan of the music in the GBA pokemon games i highly recommend the drill dozer soundtrack. it's a GBA platformer by gamefreak released pretty much right after FRLG and honestly i'd believe you if you told me some of these songs were just lost FRLG tracks

anyone who uses it was probably already cutting corners in their mods/packs anyway but it's just sad how inescapable it is especially in a community that was built by passion projects since day 1

there are a few exceptions i can think of, like umbreon, the ralts line, and haxorus, but most of them i can't imagine ever wanting to actually use over the normal version (especially because i really don't care about flexing shinies)

i beat legends arceus yesterday and overall i really like the game even though i was pretty harsh on it before. it's definitely rough in some areas but they did so much right too. i'm definitely gonna try and do as much of the postgame as i can handle until it becomes tedious

z-a ranked battles are really fun

so much of my pla experience so far has just been "oh god i can see why they changed this in z-a" 😭😭 its SUPER rough around the edges

turn based battles work perfectly fine in the mainline games but in a game where you have to interact with this many wild pokemon to get research and progress the story it feels so slow and bad to the point where i just started avoiding aggressive pokemon whenever i could

beat pokemon legends z-a recently and also got a good ways into legends arceus and now im just sad that we dont have a game with the environments of arceus and the battle system of z-a. the battling in arceus is sooooo bad dude its insane

the whole pvz replanted situation just makes me so sad as a long time pvz fan
it could have at LEAST been a better way to play pvz1 on modern pcs but i dont even think thats gonna end up being true at this point. it's just worse than the original game

hay fever eczema asthma and eoe are a demon combo because they're not usually deadly or even necessarily debilitating but such a fucking pain in the ass to deal with
