Day 3 of #weekwithoutdriving took me to American Red Cross for a previously scheduled blood donation. I chose to ride the bus. In the past I've ridden my 🚲.

On my Day 1 of #WeekWithoutDriving I saw a lack of good bike parking options. At a restaurant I had to lock my bike to a sign post. Elsewhere the rack was too close to a wall.

@npr.org When will you report on roads that are dangerous by design? Inattentive drivers? SUVs and trucks that are too big for city streets? When? Blaming the victim is sloppy journalism.

Humans have no need for dairy. Nature intended cow's milk for baby cows, not humans. I suggest reading "The China Study" by T. Colin Campbell.

During my time in Uncle Sam's Army (1976-1980) I spent a lot of time picking up other people's cigarette butts. Soldiers picking up litter is nothing new.

Any chance you might stop in Indiana? We have an active active transportation group in the Fort Wayne area.

A raised crosswalk might slow down some drivers.

This matters. Not because I think Trump is capable of mercy or empathy towards these vulnerable groups. But because it is a public act of defiance.

Contrast that with all these other powerful people in this country signaling nothing but appeasement and obedience.

I've been to public meetings on different transportation projects in Fort Wayne, Indiana. They were in the evening, close to where the work was proposed. In English with ASL interpreter.
