At Choose Play sessions, children lead the play. While all sessions are different, here are some things to expect and some information that's good to know when you come along.

Help us get ready by getting arty in the park- Our Play Rangers will be in Neilson Park tomorrow (Friday 19th) 12.30 - 1.30pm with collage, painting and drawing materials.

Choose Play is so grateful to the Dickon Fund for supporting our outdoor community play sessions. These will take place in the local green space we love so much in Tranent.
Without such support we couldn't offer our mix of free, fun, friendly play sessions across East Lothian throughout the year.
International Day of Play is here! We are so excited to celebrate with Pencaitland Primary School - renamed PLAYcaitland by the children! We loved all the plans the children put together for a full day of play celebrating #IDOP2025

We're all looking forward to the sunny, play-filled days of the holidays! And summer just got sunnier, thanks to a grant from the Ponton Trust which is supporting our summer play programme. In the holidays our Play Rangers provide creative & adventurous outdoor play - always free, fun, friendly!
