Davante Adams when he sees that Jimmy G is back
I just want the Patriots to make me feel something today. That and chaotic player movement
NFL Free Agency day is a fantastic day for Twitter to go down lmao
Spare me with the #1 farm system in baseball shit until there's a new owner. Because they'll do the same thing with Anthony/Campbell/etc. down the road.
Prove me wrong.
Graham's good too! I just don't think they pass on Hunter if he falls to #4 especially if he can also play WR at the NFL level.
Either way they're getting someone good
The bad news is that the Patriots are likely missing out on Abdul Carter.
The good news is that the Patriots might not have missed out on Travis Hunter after all.
I'll be celebrating Don Sweeney's (and hopefully Cam Neely's) rightful dismissal like my Stanley Cup because I'm never gonna see another one in my lifetime
Just glad that i never flinched and fell for that winning streak. What was the rest of the league doing when that happened?
oh look the bruins are actually bad after all who could have seen this coming?
you know the team that has the worst prospect pool in the league, horrible contracts, and uninspired slow players are showing that they're nowhere near contention who would've thought?
Yeah Abdul Carter can be the #4 pick he is unreal lmao
It's 2025 which means that Don Sweeney will be the Bruins GM for a decade.
He's been the GM for a third of my life now and it's no wonder why I don't care as much for hockey anymore when he has infinite job security because he inherited an amazing core yet won nothing with it.
Happy new year!
I'm not even a "rAnGZ" kinda guy, I should be after the Celtics won lol, but there was a weird narrative that he was better than some guys who DID lead their teams to a championship because of a few select games.
It was just.....bizarre.
I liked Jimmy Butler, he has had incredible playoff performances and will give him credit. But people treated him as an infallible winning player despite no rings and it never sat right with me.
The fact that he wants to leave (if this is true) now that things are tough contradicts those views
Now, the Bruins are starting to string wins together for a team that's not supposed to go far. Why do they not meet that criteria for me?
Because of them.
I was heartbroken when the Mets were eliminated but I look back on that team like I do with the '13 Red Sox (who won!) and '17 Celtics as teams that weren't supposed to go far, but did anyway.
Next year won't be the case for them and that's okay. Enjoy the seasons when you know something is there.
Listen, I've had a rough 2024. And the run that the Mets went on last season was the type of run that I needed and didn't care about the outcome.
I allowed myself to just embrace the fun of the season, albeit it was tough during the numerous times facing elimination, but made the highs worthwhile.
The anti-Twitter take. And it's not a bad one at all.
Agreed. But if they still do it I'll go back to this post because bookmarks aren't a thing here yet
*Red Sox Nation will remember that*
VERY late on this but Travis Hunter I will help you get acquainted with Patriot Place if you need me to
No puns. Just me being upfront
Did I wake up in 2017?

I doubt Chaim does the Crochet trade but I'm hoping there's an extension sooner rather than later
The Patriots may have to go scorched earth on the coaching staff and I can't say it's undeserved
So cool to get my hopes up for Casas in the organization for six years and he's trade bait in his 2nd year in the bigs.
And you wonder why I'm becoming less and less of a prospects guy for baseball by the second.
Okay never mind they are fucking idiots
The last thing this team needs is another Story contract barring a comeback from him.
And that's not to say that everyone in the system will pan out but there has to be a fair opportunity for them too
Burnes' whiff rate may be trending down and was NEVER going to the East Coast, apparently.
Teoscar wasn't a fit because he couldn't play DH unless Yoshida was moved or you trade one (maybe two!) outfielders.
Waiting it out could be the right move! But in the moment, man is it frustrating.
On one hand, I understand why the Red Sox didn't wanna break the bank for a free agent this Winter, at the very least for the long term. Too many question marks as to who is gonna be ready was a factor and you dont want anyone blocked.
On the other, I'm tired of thinking "maybe it'll be next year".
