I guess I get it from a business perspective and creating a streamlined idea of what you want your merch to look like, but there’s tons of different characters in the company who deserve tons of different styles. I pray AI is not part of this decision but it almost definitely is.
AEW took the best parts of ROH, NJPW, TNA and a plethora of American indies and rolled them into one. I love AEW but mostly it's just an amalgamation of other things that were already great. AEW is the reason that nothing really great came out of Mania Week's indie offerings this year.

Brock retired at the event, Randy is on his last legs, Cody left and came back a star so he's doing pretty good and is still kinda fresh.

In the past I’ve witnessed Ospreay, Orange Cassidy and Speedball really stand out as the stars of the week.

Oh yeah, totally fair. I’ve gotten pretty casual with my viewing so I’m not watching much but it’s a problem that really sticks out.
Oh man, I’m more so talking YEARS. Like it’s been a problem ever since I’ve been watching it. Really takes away from the show when someone’s giving an emotional promo or they’re paying tribute to someone.

As much as I’m a hater on Darby being AEW Champion, I remind myself that one of the most interesting parts of TNA is that pretty much ANYONE can be champion, it keeps things interesting.
So as much as I want to be precious about the AEW Title I need to just sit back and see what happens.
