Really cool! Would read more!
I feel a weird nostalgia towards the period I joined BSK (during the great Brazilian migration of 2024). My TL was mostly other Brazilians and artists. Now it's just artists and the random guy complaining about US stuff
Congratulations! Things are now 1000x worse!
Continuing my crossbreed series, have some bulbies 🌱🌿🍀
There are Space Oomfie's everywhere with those with eyes to see
Very cute!
Damn, need
It's very funny, in the tragic sense, that even "America Bad" is superseded by American exceptionalism.
Lovely!!!
Holy fucking shit, this is AMAZING! Like, genuinely, the designs, the usage of different mythologies, the inspirations, it's bloody amazing!
You know, the lot of "I am a real [Insert current victim of a recent-ish tragedy], things are very bad, you have to [Share, donate, warn people]! Please go to [Insert link to something that looks legit but is probably not]"
Never considered it could be a third world spider sense
I am sorry, but this is the first time in my life that I considered that people treat the Spam that is the "generic call to action with some truth sprinkled on it" as anything more than either spam or scam
Photo showing Director Partagaz, chief of the Imperial Burial of Security (Empire's CIA, basically) moments before he shoots himself after understanding that the Rebellion was inevitable
The Death Star isn't anymore just an evil villainous weapon, it really becomes through the series the ultimate symbol of the cruelty of the Empire, it's evilness and, above all, how terrified the Empire was
No, seriously, until Andor, it was very hard to understand the scale, the causes and the power of the Rebellion. The series showed very well how it came to be, how it grow and how hard it was this growth and how the Rebellion didn't became only a peer to the Empire, but something that terrifies it
Photo showing the "Walmart Squad" from the first arc of Andor S2. They are useless
Photo showing the Ghorman resistance in the second arc of season 2. They are Inexperienced in this Rebellion thing.
Photo showing the Ghorman Massacre, the entire resistance in Ghorman wasn't only useless and outmatched, but there was no one to help them
Photo showing the Alliance marines assaulting Scariff during Rogue One, it being the first time in Star Wars that it shows the Rebels being a peer to the Empire, and the first time that the alliance, actually, won against them.
It's so cool how Andor S2 makes us follow the entire growth arcw of the Rebellion throughout its subplots, this arc not ending on S2 but on Rogue One (and the OT movies):
1⁰-Useless
2⁰- Inexperienced
3⁰- Massacred/Outmatched
4⁰- Victory
Plus, there are some mechanics that I think are made just for a guy. Not a type of guy or a subset of guy, but a guy (1).
Why do I need to roll a dice to reload?
Why do I have to negotiate for every type of transaction, even if I want to buy just a simple smoothie? And why roll for it????
It's already hard to gather up a bunch of, now adult nerds for a night to run a session, none of us need to be burdened to learn some mechanics that are as needlessly as they are esoteric.
While I understand the thought, do you REALLY need a different combat flow for each type of sword? Really??
While I still collect all kinds of TTRPGs books like some kind of Goblin and will continue to do so until I die, I have to admit my desire to actually run a campaign using most indie TTRPGs diminishes with each new addition to the collection
Revolutionary firebrands being so overzealous that they become stupid and cause unnecessary drama?
People that think that making a TTRPG will unironically bring forth The Revolution (What kind? Their kind!)?
Close enough! Welcome back, Walmart squad from Andor S2 Episodes 1-2!

Not great, not terrible
Yeah, just Francis II and not Francis 2.0, Electric Reformaroo
Currently reading about him, still would have preferred Tagle, or a Brazilian ( :p ), but he seems to be pretty ok! Not exactly a Francis II, but close enough.
Plus, the Twitter TradCaths (Americans, as always) are having the weirdest meltdown so... worth it :p
A bold choice, but an ok one, I guess
