Sorry about your DND but have fun making Ruination Pilgrimage character(s)!
You nailed this one! Excellent work and thanks again!!
A Bestiary of Ruination is for use with Ruination Pilgrimage. It contains stats and descriptions of animals, human adversaries, minor demons, Horsemen of Vice/Betrayers, ghosts, and possessed corporeal undead.

My PDFs on sale over at dtrpg. Ghosts? Angels and cleric duties? Enhancing undead? I’ve got you covered!

This is just what a deep sleeper assassin android would post to make us think it’s not an android. Maybe Sean McCoy is likely the real McCoy.
I really love this piece! I want more (and will pay). Ha!
Too many ponderings for a Monday with the world on fire.
But should I just add it to the Bestiary and create a new version. Or add it via separate zine for the line. Or even do a Ruination Pilgrimage version of Forgotten Rites. That last doesn’t excite me much at all. If I do anything to FRotMD it will be for Shadowdark maybe.
Looking at the Bestiary of Ruination lately and thinking why didn’t I do tables for undead like I did in Forgotten Rites of the Moldering Dead… Then I remember the last minute need to split the book from the rules due to page count and the zine format I wanted. It would be cool to add that in.
Hey, some early pieces for my next ttrpg Loom Wraith! It’s Gorhic Horror through a Victorian Era lens I guess is the best description. And everything you might expect with that tag on it.
Start with either Ancillary Justice (scifi) or Raven Tower (fantasy).
Lake of Souls by Ann Leckie
You should read some Leckie. Especially on the porch when it’s finally 47 F after a long winter. This one has assorted stories including some from the Imperial Radch and Raven Tower universes.
Basically I am/was trying to find some relic fonts that my affinity export said were hiding out. I did end up finding one of them in a table. The other one, according to Acrobat, doesn't actually exist in my export... So, that actually did help me out. Thanks!
My searching is not so good. Is there such a thing that can find fonts in a pdf? I'm trying to find out where a certain font as used and i'm tired of looking in Affinity Publisher.
This is probably a dumb question....
I’ve got a little chest cold and was probably a little feverish last night and that’s most likely why my dream was a repeating of a short story I keep telling myself I’m going to write. Over and over just the initial opening. Maybe it’s finally time to write that thang.
I’ve been yelled at for this but the truth is the uppercase D looks so good in the header of your table column.
Oh, i probably played DCC at some point. Maybe.
What do I want to play next year?
As always, Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay
Maybe some Pirate Borg. I’ve enjoyed reading that more than I thought I would.
[Redacted] a thing I’m writing that isn’t to be discussed yet.
OSE for testing an adventure I’m writing for OSE month
My playlist for 2025? Glad you asked:
Ruination Pilgrimage
Netcrawl
Werewolf: the Apocalypse (5th I think)
Weird Frontiers
Holy shit. Dolmenwood. Like, I never knew how much I would love an encyclopedia style book of different maps of an area. But here I am completely smitten!
Can’t go wrong with ALF.
I’m also always thinking about doing some actual plays if there’s one that blew you away. I generally don’t engage with the hobby in that way.
And if I’m really lucky, it’ll actually be sitting on my shelves or in my library of PDFs
I’m looking to read some newer RPG adventures to smack me about the head and perhaps encourage me to write better adventures. Or more engaging. I don’t know. I feel creatively slumped and need some great example of engaging writing, amazing graphic design, improved organization. Something.
It should be!
And it’s only getting better. You can, I think, follow all the projects through here.
