I naively hoped the Encore series could gauge a new Klonoa or Mr Driller, but at least the recent Project Aces interview suggests AC8 is in the works.
Games are not tech and yet the great people who make them have been owned by Big Tech and are now being discarded en masse, because according to C-suits, tech can replace what they do. It’s a gross miscalculation. Games are art, games need soul. The more we lose talent, the more we’ll lose players.

Atomfall is out! I have absolutely nothing to say about its release. Look at my bloodied cricket bat instead.
I never imagined that SNK would attempt to capture the immaculate mechanics and vibes of Garou, but CotW has it in spades.
The Outrun/Darius game structure is criminally underused. Seems like a perfect fit for any short burst gameplay session that allows for player-driven difficulty selection at any skill level.
And I feel the same about chess terms. We yearn to put players in interesting situations like Zugzwang, but lack the vocab
