I understand if they get upset or angry about it, but I didn't know who they even were until I was able to alt-tab, and see their name light up while talking. They acted like I did that on purpose.
And yes, I did apologize. I said I wasn't aware and apologized for it. I don't know if they were just having a bad day or what, but they weren't having it apparently.
As you can imagine, I am a bit embarrassed and angry about this.
I fucking suck at remembering names. Pronouns even more so. Especially if I hardly know you. Please just be patient with me, PLEASE, especially if I just met you. A simple correction is a lot nicer than flipping the fuck out on me in front of a bunch of people and making me look like an asshole.
Got yelled at in a VC because I jokingly called some body "MEESTER something something" in the same manner my mom would call me "mister man" as a kid.
