Ended up going back to my job somehow, at least it's all sorted now

To add, a lot of people ignores the importance of curation and running orders... you don't put Minimal Techno DJs between peaktime/hardgroove Techno DJs. It just kills the vibe. I was asked to DJ at an event where everyone else is gonna be playing Hard Techno and I kindly refused for that reason.

Also I'm a big supporter of open-end set time when it comes to closing. like how Berghain used to do that years ago, which unfortunately they don't do it anymore. I do think that it should be agreed with hosts, VJs and LDs how long you gonna play briefly for everyone tho.

Even one performer all night long sometimes is great as long as they are capable of doing it, not everyone can do 4+ hours set but truly gives people an experience if done right.

Normalise the absolute minimum set time of 2 hours. Those 45 mins slots or sometimes I see even 30 mins slots, like what ??

I believe giving each performers a room to experiment and tell a story is more important than fitting as many as possible in a night.
