1998. Highlander convention. Someone asked an actor about slash. Some folks were confused. The ones of us who groaned and face-palmed ID'ed each other pretty much instantly. A bunch of us met in the bar afterwards and that's how I met a bunch of awesome people I'm still friends with today 😄
