MY GIRLS CAME SECOND IN TAU’OLUNGA AND THIRD IN GIRLS MĀ’ULU’ULU! Despite being easily the smallest group we saw all day! Despite our significantly smaller Pasifika student population! Despite no Tongan staff members! The girls, their punake, their parents… they’re incredible. So proud.

being out west means west coast, manukau harbour and waitematā harbour beaches are all feasible but the tides are crazy different for all of them and seeing that something is good to go on safe swim but then seeing you missed high tide by three hours is SO SAD.
someone should make an app (or maybe they already have?) that just tells you what the best two or three AKL beaches for swimming are at a given moment in time. processing safeswim data and tide times and that.
Is there anything more of a pain in the arse than two corporate whatever the hells placing an order for ten drinks ahead of you in a queue you’ve already waited quite a while for? So when you finally get to order after standing there for five minutes, it’s a ten minute wait? So you give up?
