If your game seems weirdly locked to either 30 or 60 FPS.

Check your Nvidia control panel settings, specifically low latency mode and if it's set to "ultra" change that to "on". Fixed👍

Personally I seem to have organically gravitated to a support role, Luna, Adam warlock, cloak and dagger. Namor and Scarlet with are incredibly fun to play too👍

Early gripes....

The tanks don't really feel "tanky" enough to be satisfying to play.

Sometimes it can be hard to tell when and from where, you're taking damage as opposed to in other team shooters.

About 7 hours of #MarvelRivals under my belt and really enjoying it.

Great optimization, polish and presentation, moderately well balanced and fun gameplay.

No character paywalls and a nicely priced Battle pass at 4.99, they seem to be doing everything right. 👍👍

They could have been more specific like do not feed it between 12:00 am and 7:00 am.
But I guess the movie would have been shorter and less interesting.

My GOG and Epic Libraries are just filled with years worth of freebies. Rarely used and even if I do I add them to my steam library for convenience.

Steam is far and away the better ecosystem and better supported.
Also ideal nor native recording, screencaps, community mods, help etc.

GOG is DRM free but really who cares? You can literally just download most games for free on the internet if you really wanted to.

But then this balances things out...

There's perhaps a game that runs better on "this" or a feature within an ecosystem that's great, a new system upgrade, price drop/hike, hardware addon.. for better or worse, it can be subjective but closing your mind to one or another console is like clapping with one hand ✋

In fact would even go so far as to say that the stupid posts all seem to be from playstation and Xbox fanatics, rarely do you see this kind of thing from #pc or #Switch users. You're gamers, just game! There's not one "best" console......

I'm saying everybody has to go out and buy each console day one to enjoy all content; but over the 4-5 year lifespan of consoles it's enough to pick up one of each if you wanted to, relatively inexpensive and enjoy everything!

Gaming platforms are not mutually exclusive and outside of a handful of influencers no one is paying you to advocate a console. So why this blind brand loyalty?
Especially as #nintendo, #PlayStation and #Xbox have such very different business models??

Every now and again I make a post disparaging sth about a console. Only then do I get dumb replies from console fanatics from one side or another. I GENUINELY don't understand the console wars mentality in 2024. These people have sth wrong with them....
