In Super Smash Bros. Melee, all fighters' default poses are a standard T-pose with arms out and open eyes, except for Yoshi. He has a unique default pose that gives him lowered eyelids that result in a smug or satisfied expression.

Mario & Luigi: Brothership contains an extremely cute model of a decorative baby penguin that appears only outside the playable area and is never seen up close. Below is a detailed view of the model to appreciate the penguin.

You know how you make a (relatively) child-safe environment on a computer? Have a way to access a session that only has access to applications and media you want the child to access. This was called Kids Corner and required no age verification.

In Super Mario Galaxy, waking Mario up from a short nap and not moving will make him look sleepy. Waking up from a long nap will make him look even sleepier. Remarkably, this appears to be entirely unintentional and merely an extremely appropriate bug in the blinking engine.

Age verification laws are compelled speech because code is speech, and thus these laws are compelling developers to write/integrate the code under threat of lawsuit.

And it's not just Linux distros and related projects, MidnightBSD is doing it, too, so it's a FOSS-associated developer problem more broadly.

Complying with age verification stuff without resistance will just make it easier for everyone's privacy to get invaded. I don't know how so many Linux-associated developers don't understand this.

Excerpt from a 2000 interview with Paper Mario chief director Ryota Kawade and Technical Support Hiroyasu Sasano, recently translated by shmuplations.com
-Were there any other locations you wanted to include?
Sasano: There were... if only we'd had more time.
Kawade: We were cutting it pretty close. We didn't waste anything, although some characters and party members did end up getting cut.
-What kind of characters were they?
Kawade: You know the Ninji characters? They appear in Chapter 7 in Starborn Valley. One of them was originally supposed to join your party when you first meet Merlee. It's a real shame we couldn't get him in because of time constraints.
Data in the game lists an unused partner known only as "Ninji Boy", with the only description of him being that he can "lower the block"
NINJI BOY? HE CAN LOWER THE BLOCK
Original text: ハックンのオトコのコ? ブロックを下げることができるぞ
Ninji Boy could possibly have used any of these five unused Ninji colorations found in the game, or even used all five similar to how Yoshi Kid has multiple colors in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. One thing is clear, however. Director Ryota Kawade really regrets not including Ninji Boy.

Previously, I have posted about an unused partner in Paper Mario known only as "Ninji Boy", with the only information about him being that he can "lower the block". A newly translated developer interview confirms that he was cut and that director Kawade really regrets not having him.

Looked up black gallstones and I guess it can be from a liquid diet too, which I was on during college when I had pain all over my body from eating pretty much anything and had to avoid gluten for a year. Today I still eat nowhere near as much gluten and usually avoid it when I can.

In Mario Party, passing by the start of the board again gets a bonus of 10 coins. For each 10th time this happens, there is a higher bonus, though this maxes out at 50 coins for the 40th person.
Mario Party contains Mushroom Spaces that give the player a 50% chance to continue their turn by being able to roll one more die. Some boards have them clustered that they build a chain where each of them is 10 or fewer spaces from each other, allowing a turn to go on forever with perfect luck manipulation. If this is done to keep getting this bonus, it turns out that it rolls over at 16,777,215, making Koopa say "Oth person" and award 10 coins again.
[Screenshot of Koopa saying: Congratulations!
Since you're the 10th person to pass here, Ill give you a special present of 20 Coins.]

In Mario Party, passing by the start of the board gains special bonuses for each 10th, 20th, etc. person. However, using luck manipulation to make a turn last forever and pass by the start 16,777,215 times will make the counter roll over and give a smaller prize than usual.

I lived, chat. My gallbladder was like sand it had so many small gallstones in it. One of them was in my bile duct and that's what caused my really bad gallbladder attack last month. I guess I had an infection at one point because all the gallstones were black.
