On this winter solstice, two years after the Universe began to form, we have another materialization in an entirely new form: new prose from @lgeccles.bsky.social, @ianli.bsky.social, @forestfarmer.bsky.social, ~in orbit~ around artwork from Jacelyn Yap.

New poem recently published in Arkana. I’m a big fan of the growing trend of audio accompanying poems in lit mags. It’s like a mini poetry reading experience without leaving home.

But have you read the Wind-Up Bird Chronicle by Murakami, because it made me want all the trapped-in-a-well books.
My poem “Father as a Lost Landscape” is out and is my second poem to be nominated for a Pushcart this year.
I hope it offers something to those who can relate. www.jetfuelreview.com/svetlana-lit...
Some of us may just be going through a process that looks like sitting with grief, wallowing in it a little, and writing lots of mediocre poetry before we’re ready to get back out there. We’re just strengthening our reserves.

I might have to add this to my tools. It would make sense that they’d modernize and keep up with the times, they were the go-to resource at one point. Thank you for the reminder.
I know this used to be the standard, but I don’t hear of anyone mentioning this anymore. Mostly there are some electronic databases like Chill Subs, Duotrope, Poets & Writers, etc that I hear people using. Would you still recommend Writer’s Market today?
That would be fantastic! I’ll be in touch, thank you so much.
Thank you, I’ll get started on the spreadsheet and drafting an email. I’m a reviews editors for a lit mag, but I write about collections that I stumble across on my own.
Wouldn’t that create a political landscape where only people who were already wealthy would be able to afford to hold a public post… which would make them pretty out of touch with their constituency?
Would you mind elaborating on the advice to start sending out emails six months in advance of your book’s release? How do you publicize/who you email? My first collection is in the works and I’d like to start planning the PR.
