It's Black maternal health week!

This time is used to highlight the disparities in maternal health. This week aims to bring awareness to the urgent need for equitable health care and the systemic barriers that contribute to higher rates of maternal morbidity and mortality in Black communities.

During Black Maternal Health Week, we uplift the movement to address the alarming rates of maternal deaths and complications experienced by Black Mamas in the U.S. Advocating for equitable and respectful health care is a necessary fight for reproductive freedom.
