Spent a few hours this weekend playing @malformation.bsky.social’s Ground Zero. If you like a bit of classic survival horror, complete with fixed camera angles & (optional) tank controls, you really should give it a look! I’m really enjoying it.

So…Jurassic World: Rebirth has so many problems, inconsistencies & the worst kind of fan service, but it’s not terrible. I wouldn’t watch it again, but I also don’t feel like I wasted 2 hours of my life. Easily the worst of the whole series, though.

Watched the Super Mario Galaxy Movie earlier. It’s a bit disjointed & certainly not as engaging as the first, but it was still good fun.

Not gonna lie, waking up in the middle of the night with someone leaning over me (I must’ve been dreaming & it was just a remnant of that) nearly made my heart beat its way out of my chest.

Played the opening hour of Replaced on Game Pass. It looks gorgeous but I must admit that the gameplay feels quite dull so far.

Haven’t really played No Man’s Sky since it first came out on PS4. Now I’m starting the adventure all over again on Switch 2 & it’s still a unique & gorgeous adventure.

Smashing through my replay of Resident Evil: Village. Unfortunately though, I’m about to enter the worst part of the game. No, House Beneviento is *not* scary, nor is it fun to play & it just doesn’t fit the rest of the gameplay.

I wanted to like Project Motor Racing but man, the AI can’t help but ram you off the road every race & if it’s not the AI ruining your race it’s the broken penalty system. Thankfully, Xbox’s free play days saved me from ever wasting money on it.

Finished my Switch 2 replay of RE7 (though I’ll go through the story DLC as well), decided Village should get another go too. It’s still one of my least favourite games in the series, but it’s fun enough.

Ended up giving up on my replay of Resident Evil 0. It’s still such a bad game, almost no redeeming qualities whatsoever. It’s nonsensical at best, completely incoherent at worst.

Even at only £4 in the PS sale, I feel like I’ve really wasted money in trying to give this game a second chance.

I rarely used my old Switch in handheld but the Switch 2’s screen is so good, it’s primarily used in handheld despite only playing it at home. I’ve even picked up RE Revelations & Signalis in the eShop sale, to replay in handheld.

Playing RE7 in handheld, with HDR & everything, seems like witchcraft. Still a brilliant game.

I’m trying to like RE0 but time really hasn’t improved my opinion of it. I’m roughly 2 hours in & it’s just riddled with poor design choices & no direction whatsoever.

Since it was only £4 in the PS sale, I decided to finally give RE0 a 2nd chance. Originally finished the Gamecube version back when it launched & thought it was terrible, with 1st impressions of the remaster not doing much to change that, so far.

That’s Revelations 2 finished again. Apparently, I’ve clocked 55 hours overall through my playthroughs. That’s probably equivalent to at least 7-8 times through the game! Didn’t realise I’d played it so much since its launch.
