I believe random breath testing or DUI checkpoints are off the table in Minnesota at least

That was an hour before the House met for session, BTW. 🤣
There's a proposal at the legislature to create a Property Tax Task Force and among the ideas it would be charged to study would be changing the tax rates between the classifications.
Outside of the drab sanctuaries and interminable coffee hours of the Lutheran faith, not many know that one of the 95 Theses was actually "The Church has strayed too far from its liturgical mandate to Give Ilhan Omar a Gundam." It's been represented in many historical depictions of Luther's work
They’ve tried convincing us Scott Graham is good for the DFL. They’ve now abandoned that and tried convincing us Scott Graham is from Earth
I would laugh, but there's a 2bd 3ba going for almost $1.9 million in Linden Hills, Minneapolis.
Who among us doesn't enjoy crossing a sidewalk interrupted by a freeway on-ramp.
There's also I-94 right above the neighborhood which creates a liminal space north of Franklin Ave. It's a hostile space that I often avoid. Walking there at night feels precarious to me.
"As a result, highways shape how we think about our neighborhoods. I live in Avondale, slightly north of Diversey Avenue, where my neighborhood borders Logan Square. But with the freeway to my north, I’m cut off from half of the shops that make up Avondale. When I’m in search of a grocery store or cafe, I find myself more likely to make a longer walk to one in Logan Square, avoiding the dreaded underpass."
I enjoyed the discussion of barrier effects, including this passage.
Freeways & arterial roads that double as local streets (i.e. Hennepin, Lake) can make a neighborhood like the Wedge feel like a moat beset by loud traffic and exhaust fumes. Even though these streets provide good transit access.
Blaine is about to make itself the archetype of the case against local control.
Congratulations!
There's an alley that connects from 35th St down to the property. Not sure whether they would want all the residents to use that as the only access, though.
Looks promising!
I'm curious if they plan to remove either of the curb cuts on the site.
I saw a stuck bus trifecta earlier
Not to mention negative equity -- rolling the unpaid balance of a previous auto loan into the next one.

I felt so much dread when apps like Citizen were taking off. Can't think of anything worse than constantly being informed of everything bad that **might** be happening.
Yeah you would need the address on that one

I saw her at a neighborhood meeting a few years ago where she was pressed on her vote regarding the Hiawatha Golf Course
I don't remember what she said exactly, but she was struggling to justify her vote and almost seemed to argue the other position.
They also did a case in purple.
