I haven't experienced it.
Also have never been.
It was a reporting trip and me and another journalist who was also not-white and had the "Wrong" stamp (in her case turkish) it was a whole mess.
Haven't been!
Haven't been!
I love that you made them bring another plane!
Jerry said he had a bad experience in 2024 but that's when travel was already borked. I don't think it's fair to blame CLT for that.
No. Israel held me up at border security for an HOUR when I was leaving the country because I had an emirates stamp and then proceeded to remove every single article of clothing from my bag after going through the x-ray machine though.
So O'Hare is weather dependent! Unfortunately MIdwestern weather sucks.
Like "limited snacks" and "too many people" don't even rank my list of what makes an airport suck.
What's Wausau then?
I met a woman in the same airport where she told me the customs guy rattled off everywhere she'd gone during her trip in X country just to show her that he knew.
Guess the country.
The worst airport for me was the one that had gender separate security lines, used a mix of paper and e-ticketing, and when I got confused was told in effect my confusion was because was in X country now, unlike where I was from, where they had rules.
Have you ever sat in an airport in like 90F weather with virtually no AC?
But I will take physical discomfort. That's fine.
I went through the comments ... and i'm sorry it's too US centric for me.
Not just US lower 48 centric.
Have you ever been weighed to get on an airplane? Cause I have. And that wasn't the worst flight!
Also, if we're talking worst airports is this just a domestic list...
DRIVING NOT WALKING
Wow remove Jerry's verification.
CLT has rocking chairs walking distance to Bo Jangles.
This is verifiably wrong when LAX exists.
If you chime in here with some nonsense about how Christians/Catholics in the *US* are being persecuted en masse I'm going to block you.
This is not about that.
This is about the hypocrisy of the people who've been wielding Christianity as a cudgel.
This thread is shocking in the best possible way.
What's striking to me is we've been subjected to like a decade of war on Christmas BS but those same people parroting those talking points and talking about how "Happy Holidays" is persecution (it's not) are fine with this.
they were at the time doing interesting investments in transit. but like it is a Texas city so yeah it was built up around the car
But they removed themselves from the texas grid so that says a lot about them
It's a pretty car dependent city too.
It feels like a real city.
So the interesting thing about El Paso is I'm not sure how good it is as like a tourist city (I was there reporting). But it's just seems like a nice livable city with just enough going on and really really like obnoxiously good Mexican food (which makes sense Mexico is right there)
The blocks were supposed to be homesteads. It was never meant to be a modern city
