The USA is losing its standing in the world but until they accept it and accept it was their own fault, I can’t see them making the changes needed to turn things around.
First and foremost though, affordability needs to be sorted out. Impose price caps if they have to! Rebuilding alliances and throwing the tariffs in the bin, however I feel like many countries will be hesitant.
