We have yet to solve the problem Socrates noted about democracy Millenia ago. The issue is not those that rule, but in those that allow themselves to be ruled. Right wing of left. They are the same bird. We are held hostage to the whims of those we gave our social capital to.

Long day. Ended with an invite to the PTB (Belgium Workers Party) headquarters for celebration as they officially joined the European Left Party.

It feels like the left everywhere are coalescing with recognition that the right are united. We desperately need to do the same.
