I think the WrestleMe guys have done a great job explaining Big Daddy's fame

I don't especially think that Saint doesn't deserve to be in, but for him to be on ahead of Big Daddy is nonsense. And if it wasn't for Colt Cabana and Mike Quackenbush, Saint would probably have been forgotten. I'd also habe Haystacks in before Saint.
AEW have done a thing and I must manufacture outrage. The thing is bad because reasons. No, I don't watch AEW, why do you ask?
Here's a thought. The Continental Classic, but only members of the Don Callis Family.

I just want Adam Copeland's run in AEW to be over. WWE nostalgia that isn't needed.
As the output of the companies has increased and they feel compelled to watch it all, they start to hate wrestling or only enjoy a narrow cross-section of it. When they started they probably only had to watch Raw, Smackdown and maybe some TNA.
I'd like to see a Terry Funk tribute as well. Don't think he got anything like the sendoff he deserved when he passed.
At 4:01 you can hear someone (Tony Khan?) prompting Don Callis from behind the camera to say "well-documented".

I add or edit 500+ cards every week and it's a tiny dent in what info is available.
One thing I always do is double check everything now. If the results only mention winners, is there any evidence that the advertised opponent wasn't there? I check all title "changes" to see what the follow-up was. There's only so much I can do in one lifetime though!
I get you there. I'm mostly concerned about who was where and when.
In Calgary, the two newspapers sometimes had different wrestlers in the prelims. I still would rate the results across all cities as much better than "not very useful". I'd say 98% of results are accurate, with that % increasing as you go back in time.
A lot of names there for the Hall of Very Good.
For a perfect late 90s card, take the top two matches from a WWF PPV and everything BUT the top two matches on a WCW PPV.
Yes. But also the Youngest Men Alive.
No. That's a Champions League QR3 match. Losers drop to the Europa League PO.
Losers of match 4
Heaven is a Fight Club is my favorite OPM song
Easily disproved. GTA was developed in Scotland where it would have been almost impossible to see New Jack in ECW. The game is full of little in-jokes, none of which are wrestling-related. Paul Heyman is one of tha last carnies living kayfabe 24/7.
Doesn't matter what the competition is in the UK. Anything during normal waking hours is better than the middle of the night.
They've even watered down "main eventing WrestleMania" by pretending that closing Night 1 is the same as closing Night 2
Tbf, Starks and Page are probably happy. I'm sure they believe that it's only a matter of time before they make the main roster. Unfortunately for them, they don't have the Samoan, or Samoan-adjacent, line skip card. Hillman, on the other hand, just isn't good enough unfortunately.
A bit of both. The gimmick was that he didn't know how to wrestle and was extremely lucky. Not any kind of skillful evasion tactics. I think he was the only person who ever won an ECW match via DQ when his opponent refused to end the match and pin him.
It 100% was
Yep. Mikey went a long time, including a run as TV champion, without hitting a single offensive move.
I popped for Comic Sans
Yes. There was an NXT episode where he's with Starks, Ethan Page and Pillman Jr and tells them all that they're "in a better place now"
I hope they fix the reverb on the ring announcing before the main show. #AEWAllIn
Must be serious for Adam Cole if TK isn't an interim title gimmick. #AEW
