You can’t go wrong with a good Squier. Even the affinity series. They generally respond well to a good set up and then over time you can upgrade all of the parts as and when you can afford to or when the urge arises to improve them. I am a gear snob over headstock names, but credit where it’s due.

Decent cheap starter electrics. Not bad specs for the price but I’d look round for similarly priced squier guitars before settling on one of these. Not inherently bad but if they start taking playing live seriously they will quickly want an upgrade. If it’s within budget and you like it, get it.

Absolutely agree. We’ve got to the point of sustained success many times and then crashed back down to Earth. Just compounded by the likes of the wars and European bans. But we had the same chances United did to build back up in the early 90’s and just failed.

Deffo. I found myself getting wound up on Twitter when I really didn’t need to. I was allowing balloon heads to occupy my thoughts when they had no intention of changing their mind. Pointless arguments and aggro. That’s what that platform is all about. We don’t need the stress
