voltdeutschland on Instagram: "Islamfeindlichkeit ist längst kein Randphänomen mehr, sondern strukturell in vielen Bereichen unserer Gesellschaft verbreitet. Heut…"

It's not just inside the EU that Volt is growing. 🚀🇨🇭

Jan Holtkamp (Volt) received 8+ thousand votes in Zurich! While this was not enough to get him into the City Council, this result showed that more citizens want a pro-EU, progressive, and pragmatic force in their government. 💜

Volt is growing in Bavaria! 🚀

In 2020, our newly formed political party ran in only a few cities across the region. In 2026, we expanded — a lot! Volt has won seats in more cities than ever before and multiplied our presence where we were already active.

Women with children earn less, men with children earn more. This ‘motherhood penalty’ is one of the key reasons the gender pay gap still exists.

I worked with cross-party European colleagues on a report full of concrete recommendations to close the gap. Today, it got adopted today with a majority.
